Troubleshooting and FAQ
I cannot find a diagram, view, or report
Open the Overview panel and check both Personal and Shared. If you are in multiple workspaces, confirm that you are in the correct workspace.
A repository entity is missing from a report
Check whether the entity is approved, whether it matches the report filters, and whether the required relation or metadata property exists.
A report result looks wrong
Start by checking the repository data behind the report:
- Are the entity types correct?
- Are relations pointing to the right items?
- Are required properties populated?
- Are filters excluding expected results?
- Is the report following the intended relation path?
A diagram has duplicate-looking items
Two shapes can look similar but refer to different repository entities. Open the shape details and confirm which entity it is linked to. If duplicate repository entities exist, clean up the repository so future diagrams reuse the right item.
An imported ArchiMate file skipped items
Review the import preview and skip reasons. Items may be skipped because they cannot be mapped, are duplicates, or do not meet the import requirements.
The AI assistant produced unexpected content
Review the prompt and available context. The assistant works better with a completed company profile, clear repository entities, and a focused request. Ask for smaller changes when accuracy matters.
Should I create a property or a relation?
Use a property for an attribute of one item, such as owner, lifecycle stage, or annual cost. Use a relation when you need to connect two entities and analyze that connection later.
Should I use a diagram or a report?
Use a diagram to communicate structure visually or collaborate in a workshop. Use a report to compare, aggregate, filter, or repeatedly analyze repository data.
Should content be Personal or Shared?
Use Personal for drafts, experiments, and private working views. Use Shared when teammates should be able to find and rely on the content.
